Data Protection Statement
Any data we collect for the Tylers Loyalty scheme will be used solely by Tylers Department Store. We will always treat your personal information with the utmost care and in accordance with data protection legislation we will not share any of your data with third parties.
We will analyse your purchase history in order to:
- Understand our customers’ buying habits to improve our service
- Contact you with personal and relevant offers and information about products and promotions of interest to you
You can request for your details to be removed at any time in the following ways:
- Click the ‘unsubscribe’ link in any email or text communication that we send you. We will then stop any further emails or texts from that particular division
- Respond to the address provided on postal communications indicating you wish to be removed from future marketing
- Write to Tylers Department Store, 1 Carillon Court, Loughborough, Leicestershire,
- Email firstname.lastname@example.org
- Visit in the Store and speak to member of the in-store team
The loyalty card is issued by and remains the property of Tylers Department Store which reserves the right, at any time without notice, to:
(a) terminate the scheme;
(b) decline to issue of loyalty cards;
(c) withdraw or cancel loyalty cards or points collected, or to alter or amend the conditions of operation of the loyalty card scheme;
All participants in the loyalty card scheme must be resident in the UK and aged 18 years or over. The loyalty card is not transferable, and can only be used by the person to whom it is registered. Members may be removed from the scheme at any time at the discretion of Tylers Department Store. Your loyalty card can only be used at Tylers Department Store. Your loyalty card cannot be used as a credit card or a guarantee card. The loyalty scheme is only for personal and consumer use. Loyalty Points cannot be transferred, sold, pooled or in any way traded. Your loyalty card cannot be used for corporate/business orders.
To collect points for a transaction in-store, your loyalty card must be presented at the register. Failure to present the card at the time of the transaction will result in permanent loss of points for that transaction. Points will be credited to your card for all items that you purchase during the normal opening hours. Other products may be excluded from the scheme at the discretion of Tylers Department Store.
Points can be earned on any transaction amount. Two points shall be awarded for every whole pound spent. Tylers Department Store shall be entitled at any time to cancel points awarded if the relevant products to which such award relates are returned or cancelled for any reason and a refund of the purchase price is given or if the relevant products are exchanged for other products, unless such exchange is for products with an equivalent points value. Where the relevant products are exchanged for products of a lower points value Tylers Department Store shall be entitled to cancel the balance of points between those originally collected and those collected in respect of the replacement products.
The current redemption value of points is one point equals one penny. These points can be redeemed on all items at Tylers Department Store. Tylers Department Store reserves the right to vary the point’s value.
Loyalty card holders will be given an exclusive offer of £5 off when they spend £40, for their birthday. This benefit can only be enjoyed if customers:
- Supply their date of birth
- Provide a valid email address
This promotion is single use only and can be used at any time within their birthday month. Customers must present the email with their Loyalty card at the time of making a purchase to redeem.
20% off greetings cards
Loyalty card holders will receive 20% off any purchase of greetings cards. This offer is only available on production of a valid Tylers Loyalty card at the point of making the purchase.
Treat for two
Loyalty card holders can enjoy afternoon tea for two people for the price of one in the Tylers Café Monday to Wednesday between 1.30pm and 3pm ONLY. Customers must pre-book in advance and present a valid Tylers Loyalty card when making the purchase.
Tylers Department Store reserves the right at any time to convert loyalty points to Gift Cards with equivalent value. Gift Cards will be mailed to the account holder. Gift Card terms and conditions and expiry dates may be found on www.tylers.co.uk.
Accounts that remain dormant for more than 24 months may be cancelled by Tylers Department Store and all points null and voided.
