Placing an order signifies that you agree to our terms and conditions of sale. Your statutory rights are not affected by these terms and conditions.

1. General

These conditions of sale (‘the conditions’) supplied by Tylers (‘The Company’) of 1 Carillon Court, Loughborough, Leicestershire (‘The Company’s Address’) to a purchaser (‘The Buyer’) shall be incorporated into each contract (‘the contract’) made by the company for the sales of the company’s goods (‘the Goods’). The company contracts upon such terms as are agreed between the Company and the Buyer.

2. Carriage and Packaging

The prices stated do not always include delivery. Please see our

Delivery Service for further information.

3. Prices

All prices shall be as stated by the Company unless otherwise agreed in writing. Any discounts or’special offers’ displayed will only be applicable at time of display and for in stock items only excluding furniture. Any Quotation supplied by the Company shall be valid for a period of 30 days from date of origin

4. Payment

Full payment is required on date of purchase. (Excludes Klarna Finance Option)

5.Klarna

In cooperation with Klarna Bank AB (publ), Sveavägen 46, 111 34 Stockholm,  we offer you the following payment options. Payment is to be made to Klarna:

  • Pay in 3
  • Pay Later
  • Financing

6. Delivery and Examination

The company will use its best endeavours to complete delivery on or before any delivery dates requested by the Buyer or estimated by the Company. If delivery is not possible within the specified time, the Buyer will have the option of a full refund and cancellation of the order ,prior to delivery (excluding special order items). The Company will not be obliged to offer any compensation for disappointment suffered. If the Company cannot complete delivery due to discontinuation of goods then any sum paid by the Buyer will be refunded and the Seller will notify the Buyer at the address given on the order form. The refund will be made as soon as possible and, in any event, within 30 days of order. The buyer shall accept mutually arranged delivery. If the goods are undelivered, and re-delivery has to take place due to buyers not being able to accept delivery, a further charge may be applicable and the Company reserves this right.

The buyer shall, upon delivery examine the Goods and shall promptly (in any event within 5 days of delivery) notify in writing to the Company on info@tylers.co.uk, where appropriate, of any apparent damage, defect or shortages and include photographs

It is the Buyers responsibility to ensure that there is free access to the delivery address and if the delivery is not possible due to access not being taken into consideration, including limited hallway and stair access then Tylers reserves the right to charge a delivery/ collection fee if the goods are returned. A sum of  £50 or 15% , whichever is the grater is applied. 7. Cancellation

This applies only to internet/telephone purchases where goods have not been viewed prior to purchase. Upon receipt of the goods, the Buyer has 7 days in which they can choose to cancel the order and return the goods for a full refund. This complies with the Consumer Protection(Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.

The seller retains the right to refuse refunds/exchanges of good purchased in error/cancelled orders where incorrect measurements prevent the buyer siting the goods.

Furniture Only – a handling charge of 15% or £50.00, whichever is the greater, will be made in respect of orders cancelled by the Buyer, on delivered goods that for reasons such as incorrect measuring on behalf of the Buyer, will not fit into the Buyers domain/workplace and are therefore not suitable etc.

In the event of cancelled furniture orders it is the buyers responsibility to return the goods , at their own cost ,in good condition and in the original packaging. If the packaging has been removed it is the buyers responsibility to ensure the items are received back with the seller in good condition, with no damaged. Once the goods are returned to the warehouse then the seller will check the items by unpacking and repacking for which the seller retains the right to charge a repacking fee of £25 per item , if the item is made of multiple boxes then it will charged at the rate of £25 per box.

If the item(s) are received back to the seller in a damaged state then the seller retains the right to refuse the refund or only offer a partial refund based on the condition of the item (s)

Once the items has been checked and the condition has been inspected as is as was delivered, then the seller will refund the buyer within 7 working days of completing these checks

If items has been specially ordered to the customers specifications and are bespoke then the seller retains the right to refuse a refund.

8. Guarantee and Warranty

Our furniture is suitable for normal domestic use, and is not guaranteed for commercial use unless requested on order. All customers must comply with care instructions provided. Any damage caused by misuse will not be covered by the guarantee.Any discoloration or damaged caused by sun damage or water damaged is not covered under the manufacturing faults. It is the buyers responsibility to protect items from such damage and not the seller. Wooden furniture can be subject to movement and fine cracking if placed in a warm setting, such as next t a radiator or in a conservatory, such siting is not recommended and the seller will not be liable if wooden items are placed in such positions that are likely to cause these occurrences.  All our products are covered by a 12 month guarantee on manufacturing faults. Some items have extended manufacturing guarantees , as with some sofa main body constructions from certain suppliers, this will be in addition to your statutory rights.

9. Descriptions

All drawings, descriptions, illustrations, weight and dimensions given in the Company’s catalogues, price lists or other advertising matter are approximate and intended for general guidance purposes only. They may be subject to change without prior notice to the Buyer.

10. Terms and Conditions of Use of Website

The use of this website is subject to several terms and conditions as detailed below:

  • This internet site,’tylers.co.uk’ and its’ associated domain names and addresses are owned by Tylers.
  • No unauthorised person may change, alter, deface or otherwise interfere with tylersfurnishings.com, tylers.co.uk or material contained herein. All material contained here is the copyright of the tylers.co.uk under the laws of intellectual property.
  • All rights are reserved to the fullest extent under English and International copyright treaties. The material contained here is for personal use only.
  • No material on our site may be removed, sold or distributed without the written permission of Tylers. This includes (but not limited to) pictures and hypertext documents.

Loyalty Card Terms & Conditions 

Data Protection Statement

We would like to use your details from the application form, plus details on how you use your loyalty card and what you buy in Tylers Department Store, to:

  • Understand our customers’ buying habits to improve our service
  • Contact you with offers and information about products and promotions of interest to you. To unsubscribe, click the link in the first email you receive and you will be removed off our mailing list.

The Scheme

The loyalty card is issued by and remains the property of Tylers Department Store which reserves the right, at any time without notice, to:
(a) terminate the scheme;
(b) decline to issue of loyalty cards;
(c) withdraw or cancel loyalty cards or points collected, or to alter or amend the conditions of operation of the loyalty card scheme;

All participants in the loyalty card scheme must be resident in the UK and aged 18 years or over. The loyalty card is not transferable, and can only be used by the person to whom it is registered. Members may be removed from the scheme at any time at the discretion of Tylers Department Store. Your loyalty card can only be used at Tylers Department Store. Your loyalty card cannot be used as a credit card or a guarantee card. The loyalty scheme is only for personal and consumer use. Loyalty Points cannot be transferred, sold, pooled or in any way traded. Your loyalty card cannot be used for corporate/business orders.

Points

To collect points for a transaction in-store, your loyalty card must be presented at the register. Failure to present the card at the time of the transaction will result in permanent loss of points for that transaction. Points will be credited to your card for all items that you purchase during the normal opening hours. Other products may be excluded from the scheme at the discretion of Tylers Department Store.

Points can be earned on any transaction amount. Two points shall be awarded for every whole pound spent. Tylers Department Store shall be entitled at any time to cancel points awarded if the relevant products to which such award relates are returned or cancelled for any reason and a refund of the purchase price is given or if the relevant products are exchanged for other products, unless such exchange is for products with an equivalent points value. Where the relevant products are exchanged for products of a lower points value Tylers Department Store shall be entitled to cancel the balance of points between those originally collected and those collected in respect of the replacement products. The current redemption value of points is one point equals one penny. These points can be redeemed on all items at Tylers Department Store. Tylers Department Store reserves the right to vary the point’s value.

Vouchers

Tylers Department Store reserves the right at any time to convert loyalty points to Gift Cards with equivalent value. Gift Cards will be mailed to the account holder. Gift Card terms and conditions and expiry dates may be found on www.tylers.co.uk.

General

Accounts that remain dormant for more than 24 months may be cancelled by Tylers Department Store and all points null and voided.
