Due to the perplexity of the discount involved with the 123 Furniture Sale, all discounts will be able to be added to furniture sales remotely by calling 01509 212560 (Option 1) or email (info@tylers.co.uk) or by visiting us in store. In both instances our helpful staff will help you finalise your sale.

‘Small Biz 100’

Tylers Department Store named in Small Business Saturday UK’s ‘Small Biz 100’ for 2018

We’re so proud that Tylers Department Store has been chosen out of thousands of small businesses to be a Small Biz 100. We are one of just 100 small businesses in the UK to be celebrated by Small Business Saturday.

Small Business Saturday is a grassroots, not-for-profit campaign that culminates in one big celebratory day for the UK’s 5.5 million small businesses on 1st December.

Small Biz 100

Tylers will be among the businesses featured on social media for the 100 days leading up to Small Business Saturday. Our special day is Monday November 12th . Be sure check out #SmallBiz100 and #SmallBizSatUK on social media that day and join in the fun! We will be offering a special store discount , raffle prizes and more!

Being a family business for 96 years is quite an accomplishment and something that we are very proud of. The face of retail has changed dramatically over the last 10 years and having the support from Small Business Saturday to help shine a light on businesses such as ours, is invaluable .

So what is Small Business Saturday?

Celebrating its 6th birthday this year, Small Business Saturday remains the UK’s most successful small business campaign. In 2016, customers spent £717m on the day, an increase of 15% on the year before.

#SmallBizSaturday trended at number one in the UK on Twitter on the day. More than 130,000 campaign-related tweets were sent, reaching over 140 million people globally. Over 80% of local councils supported the campaign, meaning that wherever you were on Small Business Saturday, there was something going on nearby!

Small Business Saturday was founded by American Express in the US in 2010. Amex remains the principal supporter of the campaign in the UK, as part of its on-going commitment to encourage consumers to shop small and shop local. The campaign also benefits from the backing of leading business organisations including the Federation of Small Businesses and Enterprise Nation.
